Recently, Elon Musk created a poll on Twitter asking the public if they want Tesla to accept DOGE as a means of payment. This is alongside the news that Bitcoin is now suspended for purchasing Tesla vehicles. Though Bitcoin is by far the biggest player in the crypto industry, Ethereum and Dogecoin also have huge potential. Possibly the Ethereum price prediction until 2021 might be $5,000 and $1 for Dogecoin.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is a cryptocurrency that was created as a joke in 2013. Meme enthusiasts were taken by this crypto and formed a strong community that focused on doing good. Together they strive to take Dogecoin to the moon. Elon Musk is a huge fan of Dogecoin. He sees the community-driven meme cryptocurrency as promising crypto with a bright future.

Crypto Is Inevitable Says 42.18% of the Respondents

Firstly, the Real Research survey titled ‘will tesla accept Dogecoin as payment’ asked what the public thinks about purchasing goods using cryptocurrency. Answering this question on the online survey platform, 42.18% agree that crypto is inevitable and we should embrace it.

Interestingly, 16.46% noted that people are purchasing goods with cryptocurrency because it is new and interesting not because they take it seriously.

Moving on, 7.61% think that people will purchase goods with cryptocurrency when more stores accept them. Hence, Tesla should accept Dogecoin as payment for Tesla cars pushing more people to start purchasing goods with crypto.

On another note, 23.89% of the respondents on this online survey application expressed that it is inadvisable as its value is highly volatile. Meanwhile, 9.87% of the participants on the online survey platform answered ‘I don’t know’.

63.44% of the Participants Have Heard About Dogecoin

Some wonder why would Tesla accept Dogecoin? The cryptocurrency has suddenly gained popularity fueled by the relentless promotion of business celebrities like Elon Musk and Mark Cuban.

As a result, 63.44% of the respondents said that they have heard about Dogecoin. In mid-April, an event was held known as ‘Doge Day’. With this, investors encouraged as many people as possible to buy Dogecoin and drive up its value. Therefore with such popularity, many people would want to buy Tesla with Dogecoin.

A few of the respondents (36.56%) noted that they had never heard about Dogecoin.

67.96% Would Want to Buy Tesla Cars With Dogecoin

Among the questions asked on the Real Research was ‘do you want to be able to buy Tesla cars with Dogecoin?’ The majority of the respondents (67.96%) are interested in buying Tesla cars with Dogecoin.

However, the question that remains is will Tesla accept Dogecoin as payment? The answer is yet to be known. 32.04% answered ‘no’ meaning they would not want to use Dogecoin as payment for Tesla cars.

In summary, the Real Research survey ‘will tesla accept dogecoin as payment’ results have shown that most people are interested in buying Tesla cars with Dogecoin. Therefore, aside from Bitcoin, Elon Musk should also consider Dogecoin as payment for Tesla cars. If Tesla ever announces that people can now buy Tesla with Dogecoin, this would push more people to purchase goods using Crypto.
