U.S. Troops Killed in Drone Attack

In a recent political development of ongoing tensions in the Middle East, a U.S. Base attack resulted in the death of three army soldiers and over thirty others injured. The attack occurred in North-East Jordan, near the border of Syria, officials of the U.S. reported.

The incident marked the first time the troops have been killed by the enemies in the region since the Gaza war. President Joe Biden, regarding the attack, said, “We shall respond.”

The attack came from Syria, seemingly from an Iran-backed militant group, reports revealed. However, it remains to be seen which militia group specifically perpetuated the attack. However, Iran denies involvement in the attacks. President Biden said, “We know it was carried out by radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq.”
