It’s hard not to like Evan Peters’ rendition of the titular character, arguably too well. Even though Peters wasn’t trying to make Dahmer seem sympathetic, he portrays him as a lost soul whose warped fantasies got the best of him.

Furthermore, the storylines appear to be spoon-fed to the viewers in an attempt to explain the circumstances that led to Dahmer’s actions.

There is no doubt that Netflix’s show will be remembered for its rejection by Dahmer’s victims’ families and for how it was received on social media.
