Survey: Public Opinion on Companies and Organizations Supporting Ukraine

On the 24th of February, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced ‘a special military operation’ in attempts to invade various parts of Ukraine. This was followed by numerous explosions and attacks heard throughout various cities, including the capital — Kyiv. The invasion has since sparked global widespread concern.

With thousands of lives at risk, concerns for Ukraine also come from a lack of funding, supplies, ammunition, and active personnel in the battle for war. Thus, causing even more concern worldwide as the war unfolds. Moreover, as tensions continue to rise in Ukraine and Russia, multiple nations have offered their support to Ukraine in various forms. In fact, this support also comes from many companies and organizations as well.

For instance, Binance has offered Ukraine $10 million in Humanitarian funds through its Binance Charity Foundation. Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite service is up and running in Ukraine following a plea from the Deputy Prime Minister. YouTube, an arm of Google, has paused monetization for a number of Russian channels in support. To add on, UEFA and Formula 1 have declared to boycott Russia amidst the crisis.
