It has been five years since the United Kingdom decided to leave the European Union (EU). On 23 June 2016, supporters of leaving the EU won a referendum in the UK, breaking the barrier of 16.7 million votes. Interestingly, according to many experts, this exit was a huge mistake. For instance, European Commissioner Thierry Breton called Brexit “a terrible nonsense that had left Britain isolated.”

Furthermore, the British economy has been hit hard by the exit from the European Union and the UK’s dependence on Europe has only grown. In detail, the country lacks waiters, heavy truck drivers, fruit and flower pickers, farmworkers, cooks, and construction workers. As a result of the current shortage of personnel, companies have to reduce their capacity as they cannot meet demand.

Furthermore, the United Kingdom is facing a labor shortage mostly in the food and drink industry that has relied on an EU workforce before. Accordingly, Real Research seeks to hear the public opinion on the Brexit effects on the United Kingdom and Europe at large.

So, hurry and share your opinion with us by answering the Brexit impact survey on the Real Research App from 30 September  2021. After that, you will receive 10 PLF as a reward.
