Logan Paul, YouTuber, and popular influencer have recently come under fire for his involvement in the NFT project CryptoZoo. The game promised players the ability to participate in a fun world and earn passive income, but ultimately resulted in significant losses for many who invested.

CryptoZoo was first introduced in 2020 during an episode of “Impaulsive,” a comedy podcast hosted by Logan Paul and other internet influencers. The game promised players the chance to acquire unique NFT eggs by purchasing in-game tokens called $ZOO. The eggs could then be hatched upon launch, resulting in new animals that could be bred and mixed to create new breeds.

Despite skepticism from some community members, the game was initially successful, with $2.5M worth of eggs sold on the opening date. However, things took a turn for the worse in 2021 when it was revealed that the initially released artworks were simply altered photos that could easily be found on the internet.

Paul’s Statement

It wasn’t until December last year that an internet detective, Coffeezilla posted a series of videos accusing Paul of engaging in fraudulent activities with his NFT game. The video, titled “Investigating Logan Paul’s Biggest Scam,” caused a stir in the crypto community as Coffeezilla debunked the scam behind the project.

In response to the accusations made by Coffeezilla, Paul released a video (now deleted) on Wednesday titled “My Response To Coffeezilla’s Scam Allegations.” He denied all the accusations and stated that he had unknowingly hired individuals with criminal backgrounds responsible for the development of CryptoZoo.

According to the CTO and developer of CryptoZoo, Zach Kelling, he addressed Paul on owing the development team over $1M for their service. In response, Paul posted a defamatory video exposing Kelling’s sensitive personal information, including criminal activity.

In conclusion, the question of what happened to the investors’ funds remains unknown. Furthermore, the duo (Paul and Coffeezilla) is still seen trading blows on Twitter.
