Across Latin America, Pink Tide has risen as left-wing governments took power in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. In detail, Columbia recently elected its first leftist president after which many people expect liberals to take over other political governments too. The major ideological differences between the right-wing and left-wing include following conventional approaches for the former and a liberal approach for the latter.

Similarly, the left-wing or pink tide in Latin America is predicting a more balanced and equal society. The leftists believe in feminist and LGBTQ+ rights and speak for abortion rights as well. Moreover, leftists also believe to promote taxing rich people and providing better education and health to the common people.

Previously the right-wing governments implemented various policies the people did not approve of in general.
