Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is an Islamic organization in Indonesia. To begin with, Indonesia currently holds the largest Muslim population globally. Therefore, the NU organization aims to develop and maintain Islamic orthodoxy.

Specifically, NU is the world’s most prominent Islamic organization with over 90 million members and followers. In detail, it follows mainstream Sunni Islam. More so, it is also is a charitable body funding schools and hospitals.
