In vitro fertilization (IVF) and other clinical methods of conception is now available for women. IVF is a fertility treatment where sperm and eggs are combined in a laboratory. This method allows women to conceive a baby without the need for marriage and sexual intercourse.
In South Korea, IVF is restricted to be given to single women. The government highly discourages single women to be a mother through the IVF method. However, recently a Japanese television personality named Sayuri has gathered the Korean public’s attention for giving birth through IVF.
Real Research aims to dive into the issue by releasing a survey aiming to better understand Korean society’s perception of IVF implantation to impregnate women. More specifically, if they believe it should be an open and available option for single Korean women who want to be mothers by choice.
We encourage the Korean community — both male and females — to participate in this trending survey from January 11. All those who complete the survey on the Real Research app will receive 10 TNC Coins as a reward for their opinion.
