The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of digital healthcare. As technology continues to advance in various sectors in our society, digital healthcare also shows progress. With the use of smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, and fitness watches, technology can easily monitor and gauge one’s health.

Now that almost everyone owns a smartphone, many tech companies and healthcare institutions are branching out to creating digital health products to better support people’s well-being. From fitness trackers that can monitor hours of your sleep, your heart rate, and steps, to an application that will simply remind you to drink water. All these projects tried to make use of technology to safeguard one’s health.

On a more advanced level, digital healthcare also encompasses digital consultation platforms and even digital doctors. The possibilities are endless. As many of the advancements may be overwhelming or entirely alien to many, the question of trust really matters.

In this Real Research survey, we aim to know if people actually make use of digital health apps and products. Do they trust their efficiency and accuracy? Do they think machines would be able to understand the human body better than our doctors?
