Welfare relates to a range of government plans that provide aid to individuals or groups who can’t support themselves. Welfare programs usually enable people to cope with financial stress during rough times of their lives. Also, in most cases, people who use it will receive payments. The goals of interest vary. Besides, it looks to promote the pursuance of work, education, or, in some instances, a better standard of living.

Welfare systems help individuals and families who have a rough time in life. Eligibility is based on factors surrounding the person’s financial status and its relation to the minimum acceptable levels. The factors included can be the family unit’s size and assessed disability or current income levels.

It has been controversial when child sex offender Cho Doo-soon applied for a customized benefit for the National Basic Livelihood Security provided to low-income families who have difficulty making a living. In line with this, Real Research is conducting this survey to know the public’s opinion regarding the controversy over criminals’ welfare benefits.

People from South Korea can answer this Real Research survey from January 12. All participants who complete the survey will receive 10 TNC Coins as rewards.
