For centuries, our society has attached a different meaning to different colors. However, most of these meanings have changed over time. This only gets more mixed up as we compare the meaning of these colors between different societies. How does color invoke feelings in humanity? Is it cultural or instinctual?

For instance, the color White is seen as pure. After all, most western wedding dresses are White to show the bride’s innocence. In contrast, eastern cultures prefer to use the color Red for their brides. In fact, to them, Red is the color of celebration. Meanwhile, in some cultures, White is the color of mourning. Whereas, the color for mourning is Black in other parts of the world.

Similarly, in modern times Pink is seen as a feminine color while the color Blue is often represented as a masculine color. In particular, this is the complete opposite of the times of the Old West. Back then, cowboys wore Pink to show off their manliness while women would dress in Blue to showcase their femininity. Certainly, the way humanity associates with colors is a very interesting concept throughout history.

Accordingly, Real Research launched a color association survey. In particular, the survey aims to find out how the public relates to each color. For example, what feeling do they associate with the color Blue? Is it loneliness, sadness, intelligence, or royalty? Similarly, what feeling do they feel when they see other colors?

Hence, hurry and share your opinion via the color association survey on the Real Research online survey app from February 19, 2022. After that, you will receive 20 PLF as a reward.
