The Emirates airline started its journey in October 1985 with two travel destinations — Karachi and Mumbai. Emirates operated its first flights using a Boeing 737 and an Airbus 300 B4 wet-leased from Pakistan International Airlines. In detail, flight number EK 600 flew with UAE royal dignitaries on board from Dubai to Karachi at 11:45 AM.

Furthermore, two other planes also took off to the Indian cities of Mumbai and Delhi.  Remarkably, in its first five years of operations, Emirates grew its network to 14 destinations. As the years passed by, Emirates became even more popular globally revered.

Thus, fares dropped as the competition and the number of customers increased. It was only in the 2000s that Emirates became a global brand and aviation hub. Today, Emirates is the world’s largest international airline, flying to 158 destinations in 85 countries.

Emirates Airlines Provides Flights To Various Destinations Globally

Emirates airline services have gained a world-class status reputation. Moreover, it has become a first-choice airline for numerous flight passengers across the globe. This results from the inflight comfort they constantly provide to their passengers. With this said, Real Research sought to know why people prefer traveling with Emirates.

Firstly, 25.81% of the respondents prefer traveling with Emirates because the airline provides a vast array of destinations. Now travel bans and restrictions across the world continue to lift after the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, Emirates has resumed flights to more than 120 destinations. Moving on, 14.24% state that the airline is punctual. Also, 9.86% prefer traveling with Emirates because the flight experience is comfortable. To add on, 3.73% of the survey participants say that ‘Emirates security procedures are tight and I feel safe’. Meanwhile, 27.10% replied ‘Other’. All in all, passengers have diverse reasons for preferring to travel with Emirates.

Emirates Airline Services Are Very Efficient

Emirates offers efficient online services which give the airline competitive advantages over other airlines. The airline continues to be at the forefront of innovation by enhancing its online services for its large clientele. Therefore, the emirates airlines customer satisfaction survey asked respondents regarding the efficiency of Emirates’ online services.

Results from the Real Research survey app show that 33.58% say that Emirates is very efficient in online booking and check-in. Even more, 8.83% answered ‘Somewhat efficient’. Then 14.54% are Neutral.

Emirates Airlines Customer Satisfaction Feedback

F&B — The airline constantly introduces a range of new premium brands in beverages as well as an exclusive selection of food menus. The Emirates vintage collection, a selection of fine wines that have been stored for 15 years was introduced on select routes in First Class.

Responding to the question about Emirates airlines food and beverage, 33.58% say they are ‘Very Satisfied’. Meanwhile, 9.67% say ‘Somewhat satisfied’, and 13.32% say ‘Neutral’. On the other hand, a lower 2.60% say ‘Dissatsfied’.

Services offered both off and onboard — In order to create a holistic travel experience for its customers, Emirates focuses on providing a number of best-in-class services both off and onboard. Therefore, Real Research sought the public opinion on their satisfaction regarding Emirates airline flight experience.

The results are ‘Very satisfied’ 33.91%. Additionally, 10.15% say ‘Somewhat satisfied’  and 12.82% chose ‘Neutral’.

AirFares — Emirates always strives to make traveling enjoyable and comfortable for its customers. It offers a good in-flight entertainment system with thousands of movies, good food, the newest and best airline fleets, and great customer service. Thereby charging for all these services. What do respondents think about Emirates airline fares?

According to the results on Real Research, 30.97% say Emirates airline fares are very expensive. Following then, 13.63% think that Emirates airline is somewhat expensive. However, 9.65% say the airline is affordable. Also, 3.45% say it’s not expensive.

Staff Attitude — For those who have had an Emirates airline flight experience the majority state that Emirates needs improvement on staff attitude. To begin with, in categories that need improvement, Staff attitude (25.71%) and check-in procedures (8.15%) came up on top.

Following after is food and beverages provided (6.68%), comfortable seating (4.56%), entertainment offering (4.16%), and travel destinations (2.71%).

When Not Using Emirates, the Majority Fly With Qatar Airlines

Emirates is without a doubt amongst the exclusive global airlines. However, if not traveling with Emirates which other airlines do respondents use? Amongst the list of given airlines, Qatar took the lead with 29.12%.

Second, on the list, is Air India (6.23%). In third place is Korean Air (5.61%) then Air New Zealand with (5.46%). Following then are Singapore Airlines (5.39%) and Qantas (2.51%).

In conclusion,  Emirates has been recognized as the best airline for 2020 at The Sun Travel Awards, and the Best Long-Haul Airline at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards. Following an unprecedented year for travel, Emirates is set to offer a better and safer customer experience in the air and on the ground across every class of travel.

Also, Emirates introduced home check-in. This new service allows customers to check in from the comfort of their own homes, hotel, or office. They can even have their luggage transported prior to their flight.
