Marvel Studios is an American film and television production company. Marvel Studios produce the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and series based on characters that appear in Marvel Comics publications.

In 2008, Marvel Studios released its first film —Iron Man and changed the face of modern cinema. Nearly 15 years later, the MCU is a sprawling, interconnected web of character-based movies and crossovers that has pulled in billions at the box office.

As per sources, Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame was considered one of the best Marvel movies to date, followed by the recently released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the recently-released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever received a 94% audience score and 84% rating.

In detail, Black Panther (2018) portrays the story of T’Challa, the heir to a hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, and how he must step forward to lead his people into a new future.

The movie received overall positive reviews, however, before the release of the next installment, the lead actor who portrayed T’Challa, Chadwick Boseman, died battling cancer.

In November 2022, when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released, many had their opinions about the movie without Chadwick. Thus, Real Research launched a survey seeking public opinion on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to gather impressions on the movie.

Black Panther: Marvel’s Best?

According to the Rotten Tomatoes rating, Black Panther (2018) won the best Marvel movie, followed by Avengers: Endgame. The Black Panther series is arguably one of the best Marvel movies. It won countless awards, accolades, and nominations, including Best Picture, Best Original Song, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Costume Design, Best Original Score, and Best Production Design.

Our first poll asked the respondents if they had watched the Black Panther 2018 movie. 74.18% said yes, 18.15% said no, but planning to watch, and 7.67% said no.

The unfortunate demise of the lead role of the Black Panther series shook the world. His presence was absent in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but instead was directed with a unique approach. His legacy will surely live on forever.

Likewise, the following survey asked the respondents about Chadwick’s performance in the previous movie. Results are as follows:

23.3% said excellent, 14.41% were satisfied, 12.64% said fair, 13.7% said average, and 15.26% said otherwise.

Importance of Representation of People of Color in Big-picture

Almost 50% of respondents said it is very important to represent people of color in big-picture movies, in comparison to 2.97% very unimportant. 23.84% said somewhat important, 5.47% said somewhat unimportant, and 19.78% remained uncertain.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Sources claim that the recently released Black Panther is one of the best of Marvel’s movies. Likewise, our poll asks the public opinions on the recently-released Marvel Black Panther movie. Results show that 74.34% are satisfied with the movie, whereas 3.13% said otherwise.

8.63% said that the characters stood out, 6.49% said the plot, 6.89% about cinematography, and 6.1% about the CGI.

All Legends Fall

Due to Boseman’s absence, many feared the replacement for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In response, Marvel decided not to recast another actor to play Boseman’s character in the latest movie. They said, “It just felt like it was much too soon.”

Poll shows 83.36% agree with Marvel’s decision, compared to 3.17% who disagree.

Similarly, 62.74% agreed that Boseman’s absence was noticed in the latest movie, and 11.96% did not.

Most Demand for a New Black Panther Sequel

Our poll asked if respondents would be interested to see another sequel of the Black Panther series —Black Panther 3. Results reveal that 43.84% are in demand, whereas 4.64% are not, and 7.2% remained uncertain.

Lastly, the survey ended with a rating of the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. 40.1% rated it 5/5, 25.02% rated 4/5, 18.59% rated 3/5, 4.67% rated 2/5, and 3.32% 1/5.
