After two seasons disrupted by COVID-19, the NBA tips off a normal 82-game schedule. Finally, the NBA season 2021 – 22 is in full swing. Moreover, basketball fans from all over the world are tuning in to bask in the glory of the sports. Furthermore, much like other sports fans, basketball fans also have a massive fan following.

In addition, a total of 30 teams are in the running for the championship trophy and title. As a part of the survey, we asked them which basketball team is their favorite, and also which players are they rooting for the most. Lastly, they also chose which teams they feel will qualify for the finals.

Meanwhile, the Real Research online survey application launched a 2021 – 22 NBA season survey to see just how enthusiastic basketball fans are. Here are the results.

The NBA Has a Massive Fan Following

According to the result gathered from the NBA survey 2021, the NBA team with the biggest following is the Boston Celtics (20.59%). Following them are the New York Knicks with 7.19% vote from the respondents. Together, the Chicago Bulls received a 4.91%. However, the majority of the respondents which is 24.73% are not interested in NBA, while 24.58% are not sure about the team they will support.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors got the highest vote for the favorite point guard. In this, the votes surpassed Chris Paul of Phoenix Suns (5.17%).

Jayes Harden Is the Best Shooting Guard This Season

Likewise, the survey also asked for the favorite shooting guard for the 2021 – 22 NBA season. In this, 21.75% of the respondents choose James Harden from Brooklyn Nets. Next in line is Davin Booker from Phoenix Suns (5.97%) vote.

At the same time, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is the leading favorite power forward for the 2021 – 22 NBA season. In fact, Antetokounmpo got the highest vote of 19.34% as favorite power forward, while Anthony Davis got 7.72%.

Moving for the favorite small forward, Lebron James from the LA Lakers, Luka Doncic from Dallas Mavericks, and Kevin Durant from Brooklyn Nets are the top 3 favorites small forward this season. In detail, Durant got the highest votes of 28.82%, followed by Lebron who got 6.19% votes, and Doncic took 5.30%.

In addition, the 2021 – 22 NBA season rookie of the year race has officially begun, and its current leaders didn’t seem like obvious candidates on draft night. However, based on the Real Research survey result, Cade Cunninghan of the Detroit Pistons got the highest vote of 19.27% for the best rookie for this season.

NBA Season Conference Final Predictions

When it comes to NBA season conference finals prediction in the 2021 – 22 season, we asked every respondent who is their pick for the Eastern champion. The Real Research survey results show both Kevin Durant and James Harden was chosen as the best player for their position, But, Boston Celtics got the highest vote from the respondent with 21.27%. While Brooklyn Nets got 5.46%.

On the other hand, for the western conference finals predictions, most of the respondents believe the Denver Nuggets can win the western conference final with a total vote of 20.26%.
