Fights between couples are inevitable but it does not mean that couples start fighting on purpose. A healthy argument is sometimes a great breakthrough for a relationship. In addition, trying to understand each other in a better way through talking is significant. In extreme cases, couples seek therapy. Moreover, some couples struggle to find a solution because one of them is reluctant to seek therapy, mainly due to the pressure of society.
Accordingly, Real Research launched a survey dealing with indifference in a relationship. In detail, it focused on the indifference in marriage. It also asked respondents about indifference relation and their viewpoint. Moreover, it talked about how to fix indifference in a relationship. Here are the results.

Some Are Happy in Their Relationships While Others Are Struggling
To start off, the survey asked respondents if they are currently in a relationship. To which, 82.64% said ‘yes’, and 17.36% said ‘no’. Accordingly, the survey asks if respondents are happy in their relationship.
In answer, 69.46% said they are very happy, 11.34% said they are somewhat happy, and 4.84% said it is a daily struggle. Also, 2.80% said they want to leave an abusive partner but they cannot leave. Lastly, 2.41% struggle with communicating.
Next, the survey asks respondents if they think their partner is happy in the relationship. In reply, 68.05% say their partner is very happy. Meanwhile, 14.90% say they are not sure but their partner looks happy. In addition, 7.62% say their partner is very moody, 4.47% fear their partner will leave them, and 4.51% think their partner is cheating on them.
Lack of Care Is the Biggest Indifference According to 50.95%
To highlight, the types of indifferences, respondents share the option that best describes their relationship. Firstly, 50.95% say lack of care while 13.57% say lack of communication. Likewise, 6.30% say low physical intimacy, 5.33% say lying to each other, 3.06% say avoiding time together, and 2.11% say repeatedly cheating on each other.
Furthermore, the next question asks if they have ever been to couples’ therapy. On this, 53.16% said ‘no, we do not need it’, 17.72% say they went to therapy once, and 12.59% said ‘yes, we go regularly’. In addition, 4.97% say therapy is a waste of money, 4.13% say couples should not disclose their problems to anyone, and 3.27% say they want to go but their partner didn’t.
53.81% Describe Their Relationship as Perfect
Furthermore, the next question asks ‘if there is indifference in your relationship, what would you do?’. A majority of 61.68% said they would like to talk about the problem and resolve it. Meanwhile, 12.51% said they wait for their partner to initiate a conversation and 7.73% said they consider separation/divorce.
Adding on, 5.91% said they will avoid the problem until it resolves itself, 4.85% said they do everything from their side to make it work, and 3.17% said not to say anything to the partner and get involved with someone else.
To conclude, the survey asks respondents to describe their relationship in one word. Answers are as follows: Perfect (53.81%), Amazing (14.11%), Peaceful (7.%), Heaven (5.44%), Equal (4.37%), Intimate (4.12%), Coexistence (3.39%), and Hell (2.91%).
