In a recent ruling, the Supreme Court declared abortion is not protected by the constitution, giving states the right to regulate it as they see fit. Several Republican-controlled states outright prohibit or severely restrict abortion, while others will eventually follow suit. Meanwhile, as the verdict approached, several states led by Democrats took action to ensure the preservation of abortion access.

Legality and access to abortions in their society are now a state matter, but this doesn’t stop people from expressing their opinions. Hence, Real Research launched a survey on abortion rights in the USA. Here are the results.

Highlights:

  • 82.32% heard the US Supreme Court decision on abortion
  • 51.32% expect Democratic Party to win this upcoming midterm election
  • 57.27% reside in a country that has abortion rights
