As we announced before, the Buyaladdin team partnered with Real Research to find data on user experience and satisfaction for the Buyaladdin application. Together, we created questions that have given very effective insights that could boost the development direction of the Buyaladdin application. As a result, a huge majority have given positive feedback when it comes to their satisfaction and the helpfulness of the app.

The world is going full throttle on e-commerce. Projects that support the online shopping revolution pop out everywhere. Buyaladdin, the online comparison platform dedicated to providing price analysis, conducted a survey with us, and here are the results.

The Importance of Price Comparison Apps

In a world where there are many distributors, people always want to get the best price for the items that they would purchase. To find out how people feel about this, we asked 4000 respondents to answer the question—how important is it to have an app to compare prices from multiple shopping malls before purchase?

The results are in. 48.70% feel that it is extremely important. They believe that it gives them an edge and saves them a lot of money while shopping. The second-largest group (33.27%) feel that it’s important as it’s something that can help them see more options. Thirdly, a group of 13.95% feels that it’s somewhat important—not necessary, but good to have. A very small percentage (1.45%) feel that it’s somewhat not important. Lastly, 2.63% feel like it’s just not important at all.

Why People Shop Online: Benefits of Online Shopping

With the COVID-19 pandemic, people were quarantined or locked down in their homes. As a result, people naturally shopped more online rather than to go out and risk their safety. This manifested in an increase in the number of people ordering online. Because online shopping has gotten bigger in the present year, distributors also improved their services. It became more competitive as the market demanded more from them. But aside from the obvious reasons, we also asked the survey participants this—out of all online shopping benefits, which do you like the most?

The topmost answer is convenience; it got 31.87%. ‘Better prices’ and ‘more variety’ followed in second and third with a close 23.57% for the former and 23.23% for the latter. The next option ‘You can send gifts more easily,’ got a smaller percentage of 11.60%. The other options, more control, easy price comparisons, no crowds, and no pressure, were not met with as much enthusiasm as they only received 3.82%, 3.43%, 2.20%, and 0.27%.

Buyaladdin Helpfulness—User Ratings

The Buyaladdin team wanted to know how users perceive the helpfulness of their product. Because of this, we asked the survey participants several questions to know how they feel about the app. One of these questions was—how helpful is the Buyaladdin application to you in your online shopping experience?

The results show that 35.58% found the app extremely helpful, 27.45% found it helpful, and 23% found it somewhat helpful. This shows that a total of 86% of survey participants think that the application is helpful to some degree. On the other hand, a small percentage of 11.13% and 2.85% found the app ‘somewhat not helpful’ and ‘not helpful.’

Are Users Satisfied With Buyaladdin?

It’s very important for any business to know if their users are satisfied with their products. Buyaladdin knows this too, and this is why they included the following question in this survey—how satisfied are you with the Buyaladdin application?

The large majority—about 79 percent of the participants—said that they were satisfied. 28% were extremely satisfied, 26.22% were satisfied, and 24.80% were somewhat satisfied. A small number of 16.13% and 4.85% said that they were somewhat not satisfied or not satisfied.
