News, entertainment, education, and more are all being accessed through the internet more often than ever before. According to predictions, the online streaming market will be worth $19,537 billion by 2027 as over-the-top (OTT) video consumption continues to rise. A growing number of businesses are utilizing this trend to increase brand awareness and provide value to their audiences.

Nevertheless, many are capitalizing on this opportunity to monetize their video content and build their own OTT broadcasting services and platforms.

Movies, shows, documentaries, and other forms of entertainment have primarily been reduced to streaming via various OTT platforms today.

An over-the-top platform (OTT) is an online service that offers viewers media content.

Additionally, many, including ‘outgoing’ people, resorted to using OTT streaming services as COVID-19 unfolded in 2020 and started triggering worldwide lockdowns and isolations.

In light of these, Real Research, an online survey app, conducted a survey on the rise of OTT streaming platforms to better understand society’s choices and preferences on OTTs and to know their thoughts on the increasing popularity of OTT streaming platforms.

Survey Key Findings:
