The clothing industry is slowly trying to go green. One such company is the clothing brand Patagonia. In particular, this American clothing company is known for making sustainable materials. In detail, the company is making products using recycled materials. Indeed, this is a revolutionary move from the clothing brand Patagonia.

Besides this, the brand also launched Patagonia Provisions. Here, the company brings organic and non-GMO food and beverages to its users. Thus, Real Research launched a survey on clothing brand Patagonia to see what users think of Patagonia outdoor clothing brand and its Patagonia recycled materials. Here are the results.

24.28% of the Respondents Say Brand Awareness Is Important

The clothing brand Patagonia survey begins by asking respondents what they consider to be most important when making an outdoor clothing purchase. The majority (24.28%) say brand awareness and 13.59% say quality and performance. Meanwhile, 8.23% say materials used to make the products are most important. The remaining chose a myriad of priorities as shown in the image below.

From the total 30,000 respondents, 47.64% reveal that they have purchased Patagonia products from the clothing brand Patagonia before. Respondents also reveal other brands they have heard of that use recycled products as well.

27.22% Are Extremely Satisfied With Products Made of Recycled Materials

The most recognized is The North Face (27.66%). Following this is Treksta (5.69%), Black Yak (5.57%), National Geographic (2.27%), Nepa (2.26%), K2 (2.25%), Nau (2.15%), Discovery Expedition (1.33%), and Elder (0.56%).   

Accordingly, the clothing brand Patagonia survey asks respondents if they are satisfied with products made with recycled materials like plastic wastes. On this, 27.22% say Extremely satisfied, 18.19% say Satisfied, 38.51% say Neutral, 5.36% say Dissatisfied, and 10.71% say Extremely dissatisfied.

Next, the survey asks if respondents find Patagonia products made from recycled materials are worth buying. Here, 61.91% agree that these clothing brand Patagonia products made from recycled materials are worth buying and say ‘Yes’. 

Respondents Are Excited To Try Organic Soups From Patagonia Provisions

The clothing brand Patagonia also owns Patagonia Provisions. This store sells organic and non-GMO food and beverages. Thus, the survey then asks respondents which product they would like to try most from Patagonia Provisions.

On this, 29.09% chose Soup, 9.50% chose snacks, 4.42% chose meat, 1.77% chose coffee beans, and 1.33% chose fish products. Likewise, 1.09% say organic honey, 0.93% say beer, 0.91% chose tea leaves, 0.66% say natural wine, 0.31% say sake, 0.21% say cider, and 0.13% say sauce and syrup.

Lastly, the survey asks what respondents think is the reason behind Patagonia’s success. Here, 26.81% say use of recycled or organic materials. Following after, 9.45% say dedication to conserving the environment and producing long-lasting products.

Likewise, 9.12% say use of fair trade products, 3.68% say demonstrating good core values, and 2.69% say donating 1% of yearly sales to 1% for the planet. Finally, 0.76% say they encourage environmental activism, and 0.54% say they made their own path.
