Nowadays, football players are known to hold much influence because sports in general drive global interest. Actually, it is one of the most influential things that unite people and erase geographical frontiers. Currently, many clubs around the world are enjoying multiple tournaments.

In particular, European Football Leagues are the most famous sports leagues worldwide. Likewise, these leagues have the wildest and most dedicated football fans in the world. Currently, multiple European football leagues are underway.

In line with this, Real Research took a survey to learn how dedicated football fans could be by asking them their favorite league, which team they want to see winning the league, and which players are they rooting for the most.

The Majority Support Premier League

According to the survey conducted, 30% support the Premier League the most, 10% support La Liga, 5% Support Bundesliga, and 4% support Serie A. While the other 24% said they support other leagues that are not mentioned in the survey, 27% said that they are not interested in European football leagues.

Arsenal and FC Bayern Munchen Are Many People’s Favorite Teams

When asked which Premier League team respondents support the most during the season 2021/2021, 24% said Arsenal, 6% support Chelsea, and 5% said Manchester United. The rest support the likes of Aston Villa, Tottenham, Manchester City, and others.

More so, 23% predicted that Arsenal would win the English Premier League season 2021/2022, more than 6% said Chelsea, nearly 5% said Manchester United and 4% think Aston Villa would win the Premier League 2021/2022. Adding to these, the rest of the 16 clubs also got some votes.

About 32% of the participants support FC Bayern Munchen the most in German Bundesliga season 2021/2022, 6% support RB Leipzig, 5% said Borussia Dortmund, and also other clubs received some votes. However, 40% are not interested in European Football Leagues.

In addition, many (32%) respondents predicted that FC Bayern Munchen would win the German Bundesliga season 2021/2022, followed by RB Leipzig (6%), and Borussia Dortmund (4%). Aside from these, the other 15 also received votes.

Atalanta and Alaves Are The Most Supported Teams In Serie A And La Liga

Among the 20 teams in Serie A, Atalanta is the most supported Italian team, having 23% of the participants. Moreover, 7% support Juventus, and 4% support Bologna.

When it came to predicting the winner of Serie A season 2021/2022, 24% of respondents still chose Atalanta, followed by 7% who think Juventus will win the league, and 4% chose Bologna as the 2021/2022 league winner. Meanwhile, 41% have no interest in European Football Leagues.

Driving deeper, 20% support Alaves the most during the season of 2021/2022 of the Spanish La Liga, 11% support Barcelona, and more than 5% support Athletic Club among the 20 teams. However, 41% are not interested in European Football Leagues.

Furthermore, 20% said that Alaves would win the Spanish La Liga season 2021/2022, 10% said Barcelona, 7% said Real Madrid would win the league among the 20 Spanish teams. On the other hand, 41% are not interested in European Football Leagues.
