Apple continues to unveil new iPhone products with different and unique features from the previous models. Size, display technology, and camera features set each iPhone apart, but they have similar core technologies. Meanwhile, the new Apple iPhone 13 is an eye-catching product for most iPhone users.

Additionally, the pro models also bring compelling technology especially the flagship iPhone 13 Pro Max. Not only is Apple offering several upgrades in smartphones. The company is also adding upgrades to its iPad and Apple Watch series models. In detail, upgrades include the new A15 processor and battery life improvements. More so, there is the broader 5G network capabilities.

Real Research published a survey regarding the newly released Apple products. Therefore, this insight is a representation of the results derived from the survey. Read on and find out respondents’ thoughts regarding Apple’s new products.

The New Apple iPhone 13 Smartphone: A Product on Demand

Often, when Apple releases its new products there is one model that Apple users are eagerly waiting for. Thus, the survey on Apple products conducted by Real Research asked which product people look forward to purchasing. The majority, (38.23%) say Apple iPhone 13 smartphone. Following after is the iPhone 13 Pro (7.93%) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (14.10%).

Specifically, the iPhone 13 lineup comes with updated hardware and improvements. This is a result of the most recent software update iOS 15. For instance, the iPhone 13 has a 6.1-inch display, an aluminum frame, and a dual-camera setup. It is positioned as the best choice for most by fitting between the smaller mini iPhone and more expensive pro models.

To add on, Real Research further enquired if respondents are satisfied with the overall new Apple products. To begin with, 44.01% say ‘Satisfied’ while 17.26% are ‘Neutral’. On the other hand, a lesser 4.47% say ‘Dissatisfied’. The remaining 34.35% is of amongst people who prefer other products aside from Apple products.

Apple has an army of loyal fans. Hence, it also has a huge retail presence across the globe. The Apple Store is also the company’s support hub, where you can go in with any questions, damaged products, and more for assistance. Thus, most people are satisfied with Apple and its products.

The Most Considered Features in Apple Products

Aside from being popular, Apple is known for delivering products with better performance and advanced features. For instance, Apple recently introduced the new iPad (9th generation). It features a powerful A13 Bionic chip that packs even more performance while retaining its all-day battery life. The Real Research survey on Apple products shows that people consider various features depending on the product.

Battery Life Is the Most Important Feature for iPhone 13 Smartphones

Likewise, Apple released the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13, Pro Max. These iPhones come with diverse new features that entice users to purchase the new models. The top five considered features for smartphones are battery life (32.41%), and change of design (7.51%). Also, camera and video quality (7.08%). Following after, is display screen (4.04%) and price (4.83%).

For the Apple Watch Series, Most People Prefer an Enhanced Screen

The Apple Watch 7 is starting at $399. Looking at the Apple Watch features respondents mostly like the ‘enhanced screen area’ 28.29%, ‘fast charging’ 12.09%, and ‘the rounded edges’ 6.01%. More so, the ‘crack-resistant screen’ 4.49%.

The Apple Watch Series 7 has a larger display which is 70% brighter when your wrist is down compared to last year’s model. Also, it has up to 50% faster chip, and an updated ECG sensor, blood oxygen measurement sensor, and fall detection.

Up to twice the storage, with 32GB on the Wi-Fi model. It has a larger display with thinner bezels. Also, a faster-charging battery that promises 8 hours of use after 8 minutes of charging. Furthermore a more crack-resistant front crystal.

The iPad Models

Lastly, on the topic of features, Real Research asked respondents regarding the features they prefer on the new iPad. Firstly is the A13 processor (37.10%), and 12-megapixel front-facing camera (96.69%). Also, a wider lens to capture more people in a single scene (3.28%).

Similar to other products, Apple has updated its iPad models. The new 2021 edition delivers improved performance and more advanced technological features. The designs remain the same. However, the iPads have been upgraded in terms of storage, chipset, and front-facing camera.

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max Are Expensive

To answer the question — is iPhone 13 expensive? Yes, Apple products are without a doubt on demand. As soon as Apple announced the release of its new iPhone 13 models people placed appointments to buy the smartphones. Real Research asked the respondents their opinion regarding the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max price.

To begin with, 50.95% say the products are ‘Expensive’ and 8.42% say ‘Reasonable’. Following after is 3.78% who say ‘Affordable’.

On the other hand, the Real Research survey sought to know what is Apple’s best-selling product. Firstly, iPads (25.56%), iPhone smartphones (20.44%), and Apple Watches (7.42%).

Without a doubt, iPads also topped the sales charts. However, Apple’s best selling product in 2020 is the Apple iPhone. End of 2020 Apple’s revenue was $274.5 billion. Of this, almost 50% came from the family of iPhone versions. In detail, Apple’s iPhone sales accounted for 48.59% of the company’s overall revenue in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2021.

Apple’s Biggest Competitive Edge Is Its Product Design

Surely the smartphone industry is very competitive. However, Apple has managed to stay amongst the top market leaders in smartphone development. There are many features that make Apple unique and attract a large clientele. These features have given Apple a bigger competitive edge as a brand.

The Real Research results show that Apple’s ‘Product Design’ (36.54%) gives it a competitive advantage. Following after is the ‘Brand Image’ (8.68%) and ‘Product Marketing’ (7.36%). The future looks promising for global smartphone sales. Hence, Apple keeps searching for various ways to reach and attract customers.

Also, amongst Apple’s competitors in the smartphone industry, Samsung is said to be the biggest competitor. In detail, the results are Samsung (48.67%), OnePlus (7.11%), Xiaomi (6.43%), and Huawei (4.66%). Apple most definitely is leading in the markets of the United States for smartphones. However, Apple has second place as the world’s largest smartphone company. Apple’s share in the global market is 26.91%, only behind Samsung. Samsung has a global market of 29.14%.

In conclusion, Apple is one of the most valued companies in the world. In August of 2020, the company broke records again by becoming the first U.S. company to reach a $2 trillion market cap. Founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak started the business of kit computers with the Apple I. Now the business has grown to make many diverse products.
