To live a healthy lifestyle, it takes a lot of dedication and motivation. It is important to have a balance between food, work, and sleep. Needless to say, a healthy lifestyle is a blessing that saves one from unnecessary health issues. These days people prefer to eat healthy food and work out every day.
Similarly, junk food is still the most common type of food consumed all over the world. To find out, Real Research — the online survey app, launched a survey on healthy lifestyle. It aims to find out how many prefer maintaining a healthy lifestyle and how many don’t give it much thought. Here are the results.

45.47% Prefer Eating Healthy Food To Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle
To start off, when asked if respondents follow a healthy lifestyle, 71.78 % said ‘yes’. Meanwhile, 13.28% replied ‘rather yes’, 5.98 said ‘rather no’, and 9.01% said ‘no’. On the next question of what is a healthy lifestyle, 45.47% say ‘eating healthy food’.
Likewise, 15.72% say ‘working out’, 9.63% say ‘no smoking’, and 4.19% say ‘no drinking’. Adding on, 4.00% say ‘healthy sleep’ and 3.55% say ‘no narcotics’.
On the question of how much one smokes, almost half (49.05%) say they don’t smoke. In contrast, 28.12% smoke one pack per day. Moreover, 8.36% smoke around 4-5 and 8.02% smoke 1-2 cigarettes a day respectively.
Similarly, the survey asks how much one drinks alcohol. Here, 30.21% say they drink alcohol every day. Furthermore, 44.99% do not consume alcohol at all. Lastly, 15.36% prefer drinking alcohol during holidays while 9.44% drink alcohol on weekends only.
More Than 50% Work Out Regularly To Stay Healthy
Next, the Real Research survey asked respondents about their attitude towards drugs. On this, 65.66% took a negative standing, 15.02% are neutral, and 19.32% don’t have a problem with it.
Following this, the survey asks how often one works out. In response, 51.22% said they exercise daily to maintain a healthy living. Additionally, 17.36% said ‘a couple of times a week’, 9.64% say ‘a couple of times a month’, and 21.77% do not work out at all.
23.21% Prefer Spending Time With Family During Rest Hours
Furthermore, the survey asked respondents how much fast food they consume. On this, 38.71% say ‘every day’, 20.28% say ‘every week’, and 20.97% say once a month. Meanwhile, 11.24% say their attitude towards fast food is strongly negative, possibly due to their vigilance in the importance of healthy lifestyle.
Likewise, the survey asks how much sleep the respondents get. On this, 38.01% get less than 6 hours of sleep. Similarly, 44.10% get around 6 – 8 hours and 17.42% get more than 8 hours.
In addition, when asked about how respondents prefer to rest, 44.22% say they like to watch TV and 23.21% chose ‘spending time with family’. Meanwhile, 15.66% prefer taking a walk outside and 15.94% say they don’t get time to rest.
To conclude, the survey asks why would one choose to follow a healthy lifestyle? In response, 45.60% follow a healthy lifestyle to be stronger, 9.41% maintain a healthy lifestyle to stay in good shape, and 5.24% say to be successful in business.
Lastly, 3.68% say ‘to fully exercise my abilities’ and 2.91% say to ‘have healthy children’. Finally, 21.05% say ‘to have a better life’.
