They dazzled the audience with their fabulous outfits and stellar performances. Real Research launched a survey to find out just how much the viewers enjoyed the award show. 66.84% Have Heard of the Grammy Awards

From a total of 320,000 respondents, the age group of 19-29 had the majority responses. This was followed by age 30-39 and then age 40-49. The survey had very few responses from the below 18 and above 50 age groups. The survey also saw a majority of male respondents taking 87% leaving female responses with 13%. It is also important to note that a majority of the responses came from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Russia respectively.

The first two questions on the survey asked its respondents the question of whether they have heard of the Grammy Awards. On this, 66.84% said ‘Yes’ leaving 33.16 saying ‘No’. The next question asked them if they watched the 2021 Grammy Awards. For this, 56.89 said ‘Yes’ and 43.11% said ‘No’. Is this because the majority were excited to see who the 2021 Grammy Award nominees and winners were?

‘Album of the Year’ Prevailed as the Best Category on the Grammys

This is possible because the Grammy Awards is an award ceremony that not only interests the west, but also the whole world. That is its prestige. Although it predominantly showcases western musicians it still holds a greater reputation globally when compared to other music awards.

However, on the account of why some did not watch the 2021 Grammy Awards, this is possibly due to the difference in time zones. The Grammys live broadcasting would have been much too early to catch for most countries in the east. Additionally, 11.12% said they did not watch the Grammys and 3.04% picked ‘Others’ for their favorite genre.

Billie Eilish Deserved her Grammy Award the Most

Upon asking the respondents who among the Grammy Awards winners 2021 they felt most deserved their Grammy, the majority chose ‘Billie Eilish’ (27.42%). The second highest response went to ‘Taylor Swift’ (20.02%), followed by ‘Beyonce’ (12.90) and ‘Dua Lipa’ (8.94%).

‘Bad Bunny’ (5.15) and ‘Harry Styles’ (4.78%) too got some recognition along with ‘Miranda lambert’ (1.48%) and ‘Megan Thee Stallion’ (1.01%). Meanwhile, 5.19% thought ‘Other’ 2021 Grammy Award winners deserved their Grammys more. Overall, 13.14% of the respondents said they don’t watch the Grammys.

This question was followed by whether the respondents thought if the 2021 Grammy Awards nominees and winners were fairly awarded. To this, 28.60% answered ‘Very Fairly’ and 21.35% answered ‘Somewhat Fairly’. 23.16% chose ‘Neutral and 15.55% chose ‘Somewhat Unfairly’, leaving 11.34% responses for ‘Very Unfairly’.

While there is a small population believing that the winners were awarded unfairly, based on the consensus, there is no doubt that all the 2021 Grammy Awards nominees and winners surely worked hard for this chance at a Grammy. The respondents feel that the winners in particular certainly deserved their Grammys.

Similarly, Real Research asked respondents who they felt really deserved a Grammy this year. From the 2021 Grammy Awards nominees and winners, the respondents shared their thoughts on the matter.

A resounding 22.99% felt that Coldplay should have received a Grammy at the 2021 Grammy Awards. This was followed closely by BTS with 19.03% of the respondents’ votes. Post Malone came next with 14.09% and Doja Cat with 9.46%. The last three on the poll were Justin Bieber (7.42%), Lady Gaga (6.75%), and Ricky Martin (1.98%). Additionally, 5.63% picked ‘Others’ and over 12% said that they do not watch the Grammys.

Above all, Taylor Swift swooped the top number of votes with 23.05% followed by BTS with 16.45%, and Harry Styles with 13.06%. His Grammy performance was followed closely by Dua Lipa with 12.33%. Moreover, Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B came close too with 7.54% and 6.44% respectively. The last three on the poll were Doja Cat (1.50%), Post Malone (1.43%), and Bad Bunny (1.04%). Meanwhile, 4.37% picked ‘Others’, over 12% said they do not watch the Grammys.

Beyonce Takes the Best Dressed Spot at the 2021 Grammys

Finally, we asked our respondents who they thought should take the title of —  best dressed Grammys 2021. Let’s see who in the eyes of the respondents had the best outfit of all.

Above all, Beyonce takes the lead on this one with 21.37% of the respondents’ votes. Moreover, Taylor Swift came second (16.11%) followed very closely by BTS (15.57%). Dua Lipa came next taking 11.14% of the votes. Additionally, Meghan Thee Stallion followed suit with 7.57% and Cardi B with 6.34%. Furthermore, Miranda Lambert received 1.37% and Harry Styles (1.47%), Doja Cat (0.86%), and Lizzo (0.79%) completed the set. Notably, only Over 4% picked ‘Others’ and 13.16% said that they did not watch the 2021 Grammy Awards.
