The “Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin shared that he’s working on three animated projects based on that wildly popular franchise.
Will the animated project gain the same popularity and attention as the live-action series? The online survey app Real Research gathered the public’s opinions, and here are the results.

Game of Thrones Animated Spinoffs:
Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin announced that he is working on three Game of Thrones animated spinoffs. 49.2% were somewhat familiar with the news, 37.43% were not familiar at all, and 13.37% were very familiar with the animated Game of Thrones spinoffs.
According to the author Martin, the previously announced “House of the Dragon” prequel “Nine Voyages” will now be animated and will tell the story of the Sea Snake Corlys Velaryon. 52.78% claimed that they aren’t interested in watching these Game of Thrones animated spinoffs. 36.97% were somewhat likely to watch it, and 10.25% were very likely to watch it.
Animated Storytelling: Yay or Nay?
49.7% claimed that they somewhat prefer animated storytelling over live-action, 23.37% stated the opposite, 16.98% strongly prefer live-action, and 9.95% strongly prefer animated storytelling.
The majority (43.83%) believed the animated format could slightly enhance the storytelling of the Game of Thrones spinoffs. 29.15% believed the animated format could moderately enhance the storytelling, 21.17% stated that it wouldn’t enhance the storytelling, and 5.85% believed an extreme enhancement could occur.

Will the Game of Thrones Animated Spinoffs Succeed?
63.17% were confident that the animated spinoffs would capture the same attention as the Game of Thrones series. However, 19.75% weren’t confident at all, and 17.08% were very confident in the spinoffs.
The majority believe the animated spinoffs will attract a new audience to the Game of Thrones franchise. 47.98% said this, 30.85% weren’t sure about the statement, and 21.17% disagreed.
