The Best FIFA Football Awards are an annual awards ceremony organized by FIFA to recognize the previous year’s best football players and coaches. On January 12, FIFA revealed the nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022.

The awards were first introduced in 2016 and included categories such as “The Best FIFA Men’s Player,” “The Best FIFA Women’s Player,” “The Best FIFA Men’s Coach,” and “The Best FIFA Women’s Coach.” Additionally, there are also awards for goalkeepers, fair play, and fan awards.

The awards are voted on by a panel of international journalists, national team coaches, and captains, as well as online voting by fans. Public voting is open on FIFA+ and will run until the end of February 3, 2023.

The FIFA football culture is a competitive scene that includes professional players and teams and is supported by a large and dedicated fanbase, which makes it difficult to predict the winner.
