The Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) will be the world’s largest airport, with a capacity of up to  260 million passengers, and five times the size of Dubai International Airport. The Al Maktoum International Airport is a huge project with an estimated $35 billion airport terminal cost. Real Research, an online survey app, revealed that 53.52% of the respondents were aware of this.

There are rumors that Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport will include 400 terminal gates and five runways. 72.52% of the respondents were looking forward to this.

This move is intended to “further solidify Dubai’s position as a leading aviation hub on the world stage,”  the CEO of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths, stated, and 70.22% of Real Research respondents agreed with it.

Survey on Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport To Be World’s Largest Aviation Hub

Dubai earlier revealed that Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) would feature an “automated people mover system” for passengers and an “integrated landside transport hub for roads, Metro, and city air transport. 70.43% were excited about this.
