There were some reports that Putin was open to a cease-fire in Ukraine. The online survey app,  Real Research,  revealed that 63.28% of the respondents were aware of Putin’s willingness to open a cease-fire in Ukraine, and 36.72% weren’t aware.

  • 69.12% of the respondents think international mediation must facilitate successful peace talks between Ukraine and Russia
  • 59.10% of respondents think Putin’s condition of maintaining seized territory is not reasonable
  • Putin to honor the agreements made during peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, according to 53.70%

Putin’s Interest In Ukraine Peace Talks

A survey on Putin’s interest in Ukraine peace talks was conducted. It revealed that 51.13% of the respondents believed Putin is genuinely interested in peace and 48.87% believed he has ulterior motives.

Moreover, Putin’s interest in Peace talks comes with some conditions. 59.1% of respondents think Putin’s condition of maintaining seized territory is not reasonable and that Ukraine should regain full control of its territory while 40.90% think it is fair.

Cease-Fire in Ukraine

55.1% of the respondents believe Ukraine should accept a cease-fire under the condition that Russia maintains control of the occupied territory and 44.9% do not believe so.

In addition, 50.47% of the respondents think it is somewhat likely that Ukraine will agree to a cease-fire Under Putin’s condition. 27.38% think it is very likely. 15.30% believe it is unlikely that Ukraine will agree to this and 6.85% think it is very unlikely.

Putin’s Interest in Ukraine Peace Talks (Is There Honor in These Talks?)

53.7% of the respondents said they trust Putin to honor the agreements made during peace talks between Ukraine and Russia and 46.3% said that they do not.

Furthermore, 69.12% of the respondents think it is necessary for international mediation to facilitate successful peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, and 30.88%  do not think so.
