OYO Homes & Hotels (OYO), is one of the world’s largest and fast-growing hospitality chains. In particular, it allows users to book hotels, homes, and rooms at an affordable price. The brand comes with an app in order to further make fast and simple bookings.

Real Research aims to see how the public views this brand. In addition, it also aims to find out how convenient its users find it to be. Thus, Real Research surveyed its users to find out details such as OYO rooms customer satisfaction. The survey also hopes to answer the question — are OYO rooms affordable? Here are the results.

62.56% Have Used OYO Services

The survey began by finding out that the majority of the respondents have already used OYO services. The next question is aimed at the booking process on OYO. Mainly, it asks the respondents how fast they find the booking process on OYO. Here, 47.46% say ‘Extremely quick’ while 15.45% say ‘Slightly quick’. Likewise, 16.72% say ‘Moderately quick’, 5.66% say ‘Slightly slow’, and 14.40% say ‘Extremely slow’.

Next, the survey asks which platform do respondents use to make OYO bookings. The majority (35.88%) chose OYO Rooms website and 24.49% chose OYO Rooms app. Following this 4.23% say accommodation booking websites and 2.78% say direct reservation by phone.

OYO Townhouse Takes the Title for Most Preferred OYO Service

Carrying forth, the survey asked respondents which OYO services they prefer the most. Here, the majority (34.98%) say OYO Townhouse. Next in line are OYO Homes (15.29%), OYO Studio Stays (4.05%), and OYO B Direct (3.23%). Following after comes OYO WIzard (3.34%), OYO Flagship (1.74%), OYO Silver Key (1.19%), and Weddingz.in (0.35%). 

Next, the survey asked respondents which customer group they belonged to. In order, respondents chose adventure travelers/backpack travelers (39.52%), leisure travelers (8.63%), family travelers (8.57%), and business travelers (3.16%).

Overall, 42.12% of the respondents are ‘very satisfied’ with OYO services. This leaves, 20.79% as ‘Satisfied’, 14.62% as ‘Moderate’, and 22.47% as ‘Not satisfied’.

50.58% Find OYO Services To Be Affordable 

In contrast, 11,43% find OYO services to be expensive. Following this, the next question asks respondents to rate their experience at facilities provided by the brand. On this, 41.32% say ‘Excellent’, 26.57% say ‘Good’, 13.61% say ‘Average’, and 18.49% say ‘Poor’.

Next, the survey asks if respondents find OYO’s app to be user-friendly. Here 56.26% find it to be user-friendly while the rest either say no or are unsure. Lastly, the survey asks if respondents would recommend OYO services to friends or family. 58.14% say ‘Yes’, 25.38% chose ‘Maybe’, and 16.48% say ‘No’.
