With his greatest strength in making complex stuff simple and fun for everyone, Binance hopes he will do the same for cryptocurrency.

Accordingly, Real Research — the online survey application, launched a survey on TikTok star Khaby Lame signed as brand ambassador for Binance. The survey aims to determine how effective it is to use social media influencers for advertising purposes. Here are the results.

Over 51% Feel Positive About Khaby Lame as Brand Ambassador for Binance

The survey starts with whether respondents are aware of the popular TikTok star Khaby Lame. In response, 61.34% say yes, they are a fan. Whereas 21.05% responded ‘yes, I have heard of him.’ Lastly, 17.61% of respondents replied ‘no.’

Accordingly, Khaby Lame has collaborated with prominent personalities and promoted brands such as Netflix, Xbox, and Hugo Boss. The survey asks about respondents’ awareness of it. In reply, 76.43% are aware, while 23.57% are not.

The crypto market is still volatile, but Binance hopes Khaby will entertain and educate many about Web3. Accordingly, the survey asks respondents’ thoughts on this. All 51.07% of respondents express that they are ‘extremely positive’ about this step. Whereas 20.69% are neutral and 18.02% feel ‘positive’ about it. Meanwhile, 5.25% of respondents feel negative, and 4.86% express extreme negative thoughts about this venture.

Effectiveness of Using Social Media Influencers and Popular Personalities

Then, the survey enquires about how effective is it to use social media influencers for advertising purposes. In response, 47.03% of respondents think it’s highly effective, and 24.3% feel neutral towards it. Moreover, 18.86% think it is an effective way of advertising, whereas 5.46% believe it is ineffective.

After signing Khaby Lame as Brand Ambassador for Binance, the survey asks how crypto content will affect viewership. A majority of 59.82% say this will increase Khaby’s followers, whereas 20.05% believe it won’t change anything. In contrast, 11.49% replied that his number of followers would decrease.

Moreover, the survey asks respondents about other factors that can effectively help increase awareness about cryptocurrency and its market. In detail, 51.59% suggest using more popular and familiar personalities. Whereas 14.69% think there’s a need for workshops and seminars on cryptocurrency.

Similarly, 14.01% believe that cryptocurrency targetted self-learning courses on social media platforms will create awareness. Meanwhile, 10.85% think following up with crypto-related news and media publications will help too. Lastly, 7.66% suggest more advertisements to highlight exclusive crypto asset benefits.

Views on Other Social Media Platforms To Promote Cryptocurrency

Accordingly, the survey asks respondents which social media influencer/popular personality would they like to see partnering with Binance. In reply, 46.04% suggest Dwayne Johnson. Followed by Kevin Hart (10.45%), Nas Daily (9.79%), Ellen Degeneres (8.83%), Jim Carrey (5.47%), and Khalid Al Ameri (4.08%).

Lastly, the ‘Khaby Lame as Brand Ambassador for Binance’ survey asks respondents which other social media platform better promotes cryptocurrency. Here, 50.75% chose YouTube, 13.14% suggest Facebook, and 10.61% prefer Instagram. Moreover, 8.82% of respondents chose Twitter, and 7.35% picked Whatsapp as a preferable social media platform for cryptocurrency promotion.
