The Grammy Awards are one of the most prestigious honors given to those within the music industry. Grammy titles and awards are forever recorded in history and immortalize artists and musicians who earn them. Recently, the 64th Annual Grammy Awards took place. To highlight, the popular K-pop boy band — BTS performed at the event.

BTS is famous, so much that they have made a huge impact on the entire world. So intense is their power that they could even have the opportunity to possibly defer from their military service in South Korea. BTS was nominated at the 2022 Grammys but was snubbed from the award. Thus, Real Research launched a survey on BTS failing to win a Grammy award and its impact. Here are the results.

45.64% Identify as Hardcore BTS Fans (ARMY)

To begin, the survey first asks if respondents watched the 2022 Grammy Awards. In reply, 78.64% say ‘yes’ and 21.36% say ‘no’. To follow up, the survey asks if respondents are fans of the K-pop band BTS.

In response, 45.64% say they identify as ARMY, hardcore fans of BTS. Meanwhile, 27.10% say they are regular fans of BTS. In contrast, 14.40% are not fans of BTS while 12.86% are not fans of K-pop.

Following up, the survey asks respondents ‘who is your favorite BTS member?’. In answer, respondents chose as follows: RM (49.63%), Jin (14.75%), Suga (9.78%), JHope (3.40%), Jimin (4.53%), V (7.13%), and Jungkook (3.62%). Lastly, 7.17% are ‘unsure’.

To carry on, the survey asks respondents ‘which BTS member do you think outshone the others at the 2022 Grammy Awards?’. On this, respondents chose as follows: RM (44.61%), Jin (9.82%), Suga (7.60%), JHope (3.56%), Jimin (3.99%), V (7.08%), and Jungkook (3.81%). Lastly, 19.54% are ‘unsure’.

Next, the survey asks about BTS’ Butter performance at the Grammys. Specifically, what did respondents like most about the performance? To highlight, 45.06% liked the choice of the song while 15.35% liked the dance. Meanwhile, 14.72% like the 007 spy theme. Likewise, 10.78% liked the skit and 10.37% liked the outfits.

14.92% Want BTS To Collaborate With Lady Gaga 

Regarding BTS failing to win a Grammy again this year, the survey asks why respondents think that is? In reply, 51.73% say the reason behind BTS failing to win a Grammy is because the Grammys use BTS to draw attention to the award show and refuse to award them. In addition, 14.71% say the Grammys nominate BTS to have them perform at the ceremony and 13.92% say BTS does not deserve the win.

Meanwhile, 6.19% believe the Grammys are a political game and never reward those who deserve it. Lastly, on the topic of BTS failing to win a Grammy 6.07% say they will win if they are nominated for other categories and 5.02% say the Grammys are always unfair and continue to dishonor BTS.

Moving ahead, the survey asks who should BTS collaborate with next? In response, 40.69% chose Olivia Rodrigo, 14.92% chose Lady Gaga, and 13.11% chose Jon Batiste. Likewise, 10.47% chose Red velvet, 9.11% chose Blackpink, and 8.46% chose John Legend.

To conclude the BTS Failing to Win a Grammy survey, the survey draws light on something RM of BTS says. In particular, RM says that BTS went to Vegas for ARMY and not for the Grammys. The majority (57.73%) of respondents’ opinion on this statement is that it shows BTS’ dedication to their fans.

Adding on, 15.30% say it shows how lightly they take the Grammys and 13.60% say it looks like BTS is more grateful to their fans than their Grammy nomination. Lastly, 10.80% say it looks as though BTS already knew they wouldn’t win.
