The Israel-Gaza war may have started a fire across the world as various members of the community continue to argue over who is right and wrong. Although the conflict is between two parties, some worry that this raging fire could result in a wider Middle East war. Could this be true?

To further understand the communities’ point of view on this topic, Real Research, an online survey app, launched a survey on whether a wider Middle East war is imminent.

  • 39.97% believe that the Israel-Gaza war could possibly spread to neighboring Middle Eastern countries.
  • 37.75% are moderately concerned about the war spreading to neighboring countries.
  • At least 50% believe that the international community is somewhat effective in preventing the escalation of the Israel-Gaza war.

The Israel-Gaza war is highlighted across various media organizations, providing the world with devastating updates on the conflict. One of the concerns in society is whether this conflict could result in a wider Middle Eastern war. Around 39.97% of the respondents believe that the Israel-Gaza war could possibly spread to neighboring Middle Eastern countries.

Tensions surrounding the Israel-Gaza conflict

As tensions continue to rise with the Israel-Gaza war, the people have started to become concerned, expecting it to negatively affect the whole world. Among the 6,000 participants, 37.75% are moderately concerned about the possibility of the war spreading to neighboring countries. While 28.35% are slightly concerned about the conflict, 3.92% are not concerned at all about the rising Israel-Gaza war.

What could happen in the future?

While the war has already cost the lives of several innocent souls, the people are still hopeful, expecting a brighter future. Many are counting on the support of the international community to stop this nightmare from happening. At least 50% believe that the international community is somewhat effective in preventing the escalation of the Israel-Gaza war. Meanwhile, 10.80% and 3.48% claim that it is “somewhat ineffective” and “extremely ineffective,” respectively.
