The Wedding day is one of the most special days of one’s life. Celebrating love in front of your friends and family in the most memorable venue, with a remarkable wedding concept, and the perfect partner is the ‘dream wedding’.

Hence, Real Research — an online survey app, launched a survey on the wedding of my dreams, asking respondents about their perfect wedding vision. This includes what they look for in a life partner, their dream wedding venue, and their dream wedding concept. Here are the results.

Respondents Reveal Best Traits for an Ideal Life Partner

To begin, the ‘wedding of my dreams’ survey asked respondents if they are married. The majority (56.30%) responded by saying ‘yes’, whereas, 43.70% said ‘no’.

The ‘wedding of my dreams’ survey asked respondents ‘what do you most look for in a life partner’. The majority (34.76%) said personality, whereas, 13.96% said personal values. Adding to this, 7.70% said age, 7.41% said education, and 7.11% said job. Furthermore, 6.65% said appearance, 6.05% said family background, and 5.60% said health. Lastly, 5.39% said income, and 3.80% said physical condition.

Respondents Discuss the Ideal Wedding Venue

Next, the ‘wedding of my dreams’ survey asked what the respondents’ dream wedding venue was. To this, 20.51% said ‘Banquet Hall’, 13.79% said ‘Hotel’, 12.51% said ‘religious facility’, and 10.63% said ‘home/summer house’.

Furthermore, 9.57% chose the beach, 7.34% said ‘garden and park’, 5.59% chose somewhere overseas, 5.50% said the mountains, and 3.97% said castle. Lastly, 3.75% said restaurant, 3.10% said any public space, and 2.50% said forest.

Next, the survey proceeded to ask — what wedding concept do respondents prefer? To this, 21.95% say ‘Luxurious’, 16.13% ‘Traditional’, 12.03% ‘Simple’, and 10.45% ‘Economical’. Moreover, 8.60% said ‘Holy’, 7.86% prefer ‘Unique’, 7.65% say ‘Exciting’, 6.57% say ‘Fun’, 4.69% say ‘Gorgeous’, and 3.49% say ‘Quiet’.

21.33% Say Marriage Is Not a Necessity

Further on, the ‘wedding of my dreams’ survey asks respondents about what type of wedding they prefer. To this, the majority (38.02%) would prefer a ‘large wedding ceremony’, whereas 20.34% would prefer a ‘medium wedding ceremony’.

Adding on, 19.60% said they want a ‘small wedding ceremony’, 12.11% suggested replacing the ceremony with ‘a donation from the wedding budget’, and 9.94% prefer a ‘simple wedding ceremony’.

To conclude, the ‘wedding of my dreams’ survey asked whether respondents believe that marriage is necessary. To this, 49.86% say ‘yes’, while 21.33% say ‘no’, and lastly, 28.81% say ‘it depends’.
