31.47% Would Attend a Circus at an Amusement Park

From families to fans of extreme attractions, a variety of people tend to visit amusement parks. Certainly, amusements parks have become a great source of entertainment for all ages. In modern times, amusement parks have more than just roller coasters and carousels. For instance, parades, food stalls, carousels, and more also make an appearance.

Accordingly, Real Research launched a survey on the amusement parks in the world for an adventure in 2022. The survey asked respondents what is the must-try ride at an amusement park? Moreover, respondents also voted for the best food at amusement parks. In addition, it asked if they would like to visit an amusement park.

30.53% Prefer Amusement Parks That Are Close by Drive

The first question in the survey asked how often do respondents visit amusement parks. Here, the majority said they visit 1-2 times a year. Following this, the next question in the survey asked what is the must-try ride at amusement parks. Answers are as follows: roller coasters (36.93%), 4D rides (11.10%), water rides (9.32%), drop tower rides (3.89%), and spinning rides (2.53%).

Furthermore, the next question in the survey asks respondents what most look forward to at amusement parks? On this, 36.63% said rides and attractions while 11.85% said food and drinks. Moreover, 9.36% said seasonal events and activities while 7.83% said ‘entertainment’.

Next, the survey asks respondents which event they would like to go to at an amusement park. Here, 31.47% said circus while 12.61% said a concert. Likewise, 8.53% said they would like to go to a shopping bazaar and 5.12% prefer drone shows.

Following after, the survey asks which is the most preferred food at an amusement park. In response, 29.26% said hotdogs, 14.77% said pizza, 14.76% said chicken, and 4.57% said burger.

Then, the survey on amusement parks asks respondents how long they are willing to travel to go to an amusement park. The majority 30.53% said less than 30 mins driving distance. On the other hand, 18.69% say they are willing to do a 1-2 hours drive while 16.17% said 30 mins to 1 hour. Lastly, 14.23% say distance is not a factor. 

1 Day Package Is the Most Preferred Ticket at Amusement Parks

The next question asks if respondents usually book tickets in advance. In response, 63.54% said ‘yes, I pre-book online’. On the other hand, 36.46 % said ‘no, they purchase on the day’.

Following this, the survey asks what type of tickets do respondents usually prefer. On this, 34.09% said 1-day package pass. Likewise, 16.97% said 1-day pass for all the rides, 8.28% prefer a multi-day pass, and 3.25% like to have a season pass.

Furthermore, the respondents shared if they purchase ‘fast track passes’ to beat the queues. In detail, 42.08% replied ‘always’, 25.22% said ‘never’, and 22.06% said ‘sometimes’. Lastly, 10.64% said they do for special occasions.

Next, the survey asked respondents to choose the option that would make an amusement park the best of all amusement parks. On this, 24.16% said ‘selection of different types of rides’ while 20.23% voted ‘safety’. Meanwhile, 6.63% voted ‘a photogenic landmark, 5.27% said enough ride capacity, and 5.92% prefer a clean environment.

31.93% Visited Universal Studio’s Amusement Park

Carrying on, the survey asked what amusement parks respondents have visited. In response, 31.93% said Universal Studio while 16.29% said Disneyland. On the other hand, 9.52% voted for Legoland while 5.56% said Essel World. Likewise, 4.33% visited Everland and 3.43% went to Lotte World Adventure, both situated in South Korea.

Next, the survey asks which amusement park would respondents recommend? Here, the top three choices are Universal studio (35.21%), Disneyland (17.74%), and Legoland (8.99%).

Similarly, the next question asked which park is best to visit with children. Answers are as follows: Universal Studios (34.69%),  Disneyland (21.74%), Legoland (8.98%), and Everland (3.74%).

Furthermore, respondents chose which is the best amusement park to visit with friends or lovers. Here, 36.27% said Universal Studio. Likewise, 3.69% chose Europa Park, 4.01% chose Everland. Also, 3.19% chose Lotte World Adventure.

Lastly, the survey asked which amusement park would they like to visit most. Accordingly, 36.22% said Universal Studios. Adding on, 7.95% said Sochi Park, 6.84% said Disneyland, and 3.50% said Everland.
